Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Receiving Specialist to support the store's receiving operations. You will ensure accuracy of incoming loads, oversee the wareroom, inspect product quality, and communicate stock conditions to leadership.

The role requires safety adherence and strong attention to detail within a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities include handling documentation, resolving billing issues, and maintaining relationships with vendors and partners.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and H-E-B systems.
• Ability to lift up to 60+ lbs.
• Completion of orientation and safety training required.

Responsibilities

• Receive / ensure accuracy of incoming H-E-B / DSD loads.
• Oversee wareroom activity and ensure SOP compliance.
• Inspect quality of incoming products and verify codes/dates.
• Make decisions based on established guidelines.
• Communicate vendor stock conditions to management.
• Maintain paperwork file system for all departments.
• Maintain a return goods station for damaged products.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and vendor relations.
