Reader Precision Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support our high- tech manufacturing facility in Wisconsin. You will receive bar stock, load machines, manage chip removal, and maintain accurate ERP records throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include material handling, loading materials into machines, coordinating with machine operators, and ensuring clean, organized storage areas. Previous machine shop exposure and forklift certification are preferred, with in-house training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• 1-2 years in material handling desired; willing to train the right candidate.
• Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment desired; in-house training provided.
• Proficient computer and data entry skills; ERP system experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to follow work instructions.
• Ability to read production schedules, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative team player.
• Positive attitude and drive for skill growth; able to prioritize time-sensitive tasks.
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Receive, tag, and transfer raw material to designated storage racks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system.
• Operate forklift, crane, hoist, and hand truck as needed (~5% of shift).
• Transport and load bar stock into machines for operators.
• Collaborate with machine operators to optimize workflow and reduce downtime.
• Report material discrepancies to purchasing; inspect bar stock for defects.
