Responsibilities

• Verify all incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Unpack and inspect every item received.
• Measure doors and other products to confirm dimensions are correct.
• Check for damage, defects, missing items, and shipping issues.
• Verify finish color, style, species, profile, and other specifications to ensure products match what was ordered.
• Clearly label all received items and materials.
• Complete receiving paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Record and report any damaged, incorrect, or missing items.
• Organize products by sales order, item, and production requirements.
• Place materials in the proper storage location until needed for production.
• Maintain accurate records of received materials and inventory.
• Keep the receiving area clean, safe, and organized.
• Work efficiently to ensure materials are available to production on time.
