Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of related experience or an associate’s degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• Fully proficient in quality inspection and documentation; capable of guiding others.
• Knowledge of GD&T and the ability to verify against drawings and instructions.
• Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical hardware inspection on incoming material, including sampling and testing.
• Inspect, test, and audit purchased parts and materials; maintain accurate records.
• Verify GD&T against drawings and inspection instructions.
• Use calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, micrometers, and surface plates for measurements.
• Document nonconformances and support NCRs; review supplier documentation for quality clauses.
• Communicate findings with suppliers and internal teams to drive corrective actions.
