Job summary

Nebraskaland is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to support our Bronx warehouse operations. You will verify inbound shipments, enter data into our inventory systems, and maintain accurate receiving records to ensure stock integrity.

This role suits organized individuals who thrive in a cold, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include inspecting deliveries, reconciling PO and invoices, and communicating discrepancies to purchasing and management.

Qualifications

• Previous receiving, inventory control, or warehouse clerical experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
• Proficiency with computers, data entry, and Microsoft Office; experience with inventory management systems preferred.
• Ability to read and reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience in food distribution, logistics, or wholesale operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documentation.
• Inspect deliveries for accuracy, shortages, damages, and discrepancies.
• Accurately enter receiving information into warehouse and inventory management systems.
• Maintain organized receiving records and supporting documentation.
• Communicate shipment discrepancies and product issues to warehouse management and purchasing.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely processing and proper product storage.
• Support inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Follow company food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform additional warehouse administrative duties and related tasks as assigned.
