Job summary

Hendrick Motorsports is seeking an Assembly Tech to contribute to building race cars and prep them for the track at 4400 Papa Joe Hendrick Blvd, Charlotte, NC. You will assemble components, interpret engineering drawings, and work with tools, fixtures, and welding equipment to deliver high-quality sub-assemblies and finished vehicles.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability with flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform precision mechanical assembly with attention to tolerances.
• Work in a team environment with a good attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assemble race cars and components from bodywork to interior.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Assemble parts at stations using tools and fixtures.
• Inspect and verify quality of work and document defects.
• Operate CMM and capture measurements as required.
• Install, align, and adjust doors, hoods, trunks, and subassemblies.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and production standards.
• Maintain communication with the Vehicle Engineering department.
