Job summary

Magnetic Component Engineering in Torrance, CA is seeking a Quality Technician to perform advanced dimensional inspections and support MSA/GR&R activities in a high-precision manufacturing environment. You will review drawings, assist with FAI under AS9102, manage nonconformances, and help drive root-cause investigations and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Metrology, Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of precise inspection tools and GD&T.
• Familiarity with measurement system analysis (MSA) and gage R&R.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced dimensional inspection and evaluate measurement uncertainty.
• Support GR&R studies and other MSA activities.
• Review drawings, specifications, and customer quality requirements.
• Assist with First Article Inspections (AS9102) and nonconformance handling.
• Process returns and CAPAs with data analysis and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor quality metrics and participate in continuous improvement.
