Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking a Quality Technician to perform dimensional, visual, electrical and mechanical inspections within the Manufacturing team, reporting to the QC Final Test Manager. You will help reduce defects, coordinate defect reporting, and participate in calibration tasks to ensure process quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3+ years of prior experience as a technician in quality, manufacturing, or related discipline.
• Associate Degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports reduction of defective parts, process errors and warranty costs.
• Coordinates and reports defects using Quality Database and virtual job folders.
• Implements incoming inspection plan and submits NCR if quality issues arise.
• Performs in-process quality control and audits service processes to ensure compliance.
• Assists Calibration activities, including torque wrench calibration, with Quality System Engineer.
• Interacts with engineers, project managers, production workers and stock personnel.
• Documents conforming and non-conforming material.
• Performs electrical and/or mechanical inspection of materials for conformance.
• Troubleshoots semiconductor testing activity discrepancies when they arise.
• Manages manufacturing test data for customer acceptance testing (ATL) when applicable.
• Interfaces with production/engineering regarding inspection results.
