Job summary

Arnold Magnetic Technologies is seeking a Quality Technician in Norfolk, NE to measure product against specifications, verify components meet requirements, support calibration, and help create quality records in a machining and assembly setting.

The role requires operating precision inspection equipment and reading GD&T from drawings, with a 2–5 year background in a manufacturing environment and an associate degree in a technical field. Training for advanced measurement tools will be provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in technical field or equivalent technical work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2–5 years of experience in design or manufacturing environment that includes machining and assembly.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Ability to read and understand product drawings that include GD&T requirements.
• Experience with layout/surface plate inspection techniques and statistical sampling plans.
• Experience with CMM/SmartScope equipment; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, manufactured components, and finished goods for conformance to requirements using 100% or AQL inspection; generate Discrepant Material Reports when necessary.
• Interface with Purchasing, Engineering and Suppliers to resolve discrepant material issues.
• Maintain quality records, certifications, and First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102.
• Provide shop floor support to resolve quality issues and mentor others in measurement techniques.
• Assist with calibration processes and ensure equipment calibration is up to date.
