Job summary

GWS in Nashville, TN is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure all products meet customer and company standards by inspecting end mills and form tools at the end of production.

The role includes coordinating calibration and servicing of inspection equipment, performing process audits, and dispositioning non-conforming items. Strong manufacturing experience and skill in reading blueprints and using calipers, micrometers and metrology tools are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 years related experience.
• Experience with hand gauges and non-contact inspection equipment.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cutting tools manufactured with tight tolerances.
• Approve or reject items, and record inspection data.
• Coordinate use and calibration of inspection equipment.
• Prepare inspection procedures for reference.
• Run in-process and final inspection programs.
