Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role.
• Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, P&ID, interpret and apply procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of quality control systems (ASME BPVC, ASME B31.3, ISO 9001).
• Working knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, procedures, and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies.
• Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
• Monitor and perform routine audits of calibrated equipment on the shop floor and in use.
• Use automated systems to store and track all traceability and quality documents.
• Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day.
• Participate in internal audits, external audits, NCR reviews, etc.
• Inspect processes throughout the production cycle to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Inspect final units prior to shipment for completion and accuracy.
• Inspect units for testing requirements during production.
• Stop work when something is wrong or unsafe.
