Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services in Platte City, MO is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to help maintain product integrity across incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods. The role requires reading blueprints and specifications, performing tests such as thickness and adhesion, documenting findings, and supporting continuous improvement within the QMS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Control Inspection in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with calipers, gauges, micrometers and other precision tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specs to determine quality requirements.
• Inspect incoming materials and components for compliance.
• Approve or reject products based on quality criteria.
• Perform tests including film thickness, adhesion, dimensional and functional tests.
• Document non-conformances and maintain inspection records.
• Support QMS maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
