Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
2+ years experience in quality control or inspection in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities.

Responsibilities

Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality data.
Identify and tag non-conforming materials; initiate and follow up on corrective actions.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
Conduct first article inspections and provide feedback on new product development.
Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, industry specifications, and customer requirements.
