Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience in quality inspection in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) & basic problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain records of QC activities.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products and initiate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• Conduct first-article inspections and in-process audits to ensure adherence to standards.
• Assist in development and revision of inspection procedures and work instructions.
