You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to resolve issues, maintain inspection records, and help prevent downstream defects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (ASME Y14.5, GD&T).
• Proficiency with precision inspection tools and measurement techniques.
• Ability to document results clearly and maintain records.
• Experience with root-cause analysis for nonconformances.
• Knowledge of machining processes to identify likely root causes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined components to verify conformance with drawings, specs, and acceptance criteria.
• Use precision tools to verify dimensions and report measurements.
• Identify nonconforming parts and write nonconformance reports.
• Document inspection results clearly and maintain records.
• Collaborate with engineering/manufacturing to resolve questions about part conformity.
