Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a Quality Inspector to verify incoming materials, document results, and maintain inspection tools in a production environment. The role requires adherence to standards and effective communication with the production team.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, familiarity with inspection tools, and basic ERP understanding; a US Person may be required due to site regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of inspection techniques and inspection tools, gauges & equipment.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Determine inspection sample sizes and verify incoming material.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database and/or ERP system.
• Maintain inspection measurement and test tools so that results are not compromised.
• Follow defined standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Use automated systems to perform complex inspection procedures.
• Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager.
• Issue non-conformance reports as needed and return to vendor when required.
• Provide feedback to the production team on issues seen during incoming inspections.
• Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees)
