Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an on-site Inspector to operate inspection tooling and perform in-process and final inspections. You will assess components, compressors, valves, electrical assemblies, and complex mechanical/electrical subassemblies for conformance to drawings and specifications.

You will document non-conformities, complete records, and support Kaizen/5S initiatives. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to calibrate test

Qualifications

• Operate inspection measurement tooling.
• Perform in-process and/or final inspection including mechanical, electrical, performance, leak testing and appearance of categories: components, compressors, valves, electrical assemblies.
• Ensure non-conformities are explained and corrected.
• Complete inspection records and reject material reports.

Responsibilities

• Determine conformance to drawings, PO, specs, and test procedures.
• Perform material handling related to the job.
• Operate and calibrate test equipment as required.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment per 5S standards.
• Record time, quality, quantity and other metrics.
• Participate in Kaizen, 5S and problem-solving teams.
