Job summary

MPP in Rockwood, TN is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM). The role focuses on inspecting components and finished products, reading drawings, and maintaining quality records to ensure adherence to specifications.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years in manufacturing quality inspection, proficiency with measurement tools, and familiarity with GD&T and ISO 9001 practices. The position is non-exempt with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years in quality inspection in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with inspection tools and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process components and finished products to ensure specifications.
• Perform visual and mechanical inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, and comparators.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Identify, reject, and quarantine non-conforming materials; initiate corrective actions.
