Job summary

QPS Employment Group in Lenexa, KS seeks a Quality Inspector for a hands-on role in a manufacturing setting. You will inspect structural and mechanical assemblies, verify conformance to engineering specs, identify defects, and maintain quality records.

The position runs 1st shift, 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday, with a pay range of $21.00-$22.00/hour. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable reading technical drawings, and proficient with inspection tools and computer

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience using inspection tools and computer systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review engineering specifications for assemblies and parts.
• Verify products against specifications and requirements.
• Ensure production work orders meet engineering requirements.
• Inspect parts for defects and compliance with specs.
• Create and disposition NCMRs within the ERP system.
• Perform First Article Inspections per AS9012.
• Communicate quality concerns to team members.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
