Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in education and experience.
• Minimum two years experience in quality control.
• Experience with operating or programming a Sheffield or Zeiss CMM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QA audits and routine checks, tests, gauging and instrument inspections to ensure product quality.
• Review inspection paperwork and GD&T as needed; maintain records.
• Inspect incoming jobs from sub-contractors for quality and integrity.
• Perform in-process and first article inspections using measuring equipment.
• Inform QA Manager when data exceeds limits or quality issues arise.
• Ensure calibration of measuring equipment within tolerances and time frames.
• Assist in QA projects and coordinate with QA Manager for improvements.
