Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an Inspector to provide inspection support to the Quality Assurance Department. You will maintain records, files, and reports as required and support ongoing quality initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires basic blueprint understanding, proficiency with standard office software, and familiarity with inspection tools. Candidates should be detail oriented and able to work in a structured shop setting with 5S practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read basic blueprint, MS, and ES readings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify acceptance criteria for internal and supplied products per Parker IPD specifications (dimensional and cosmetic).
• Perform product and process audits and enter results in an electronic database.
• Use of all inspection tools (hard gaging, electronic gaging, automated inspection).
• Assist in Gage Room duties (pull gages for calibration, check in/out gages, organize gages).
• Complete QCI orders as stated within the set of instructions.
• Visually review acceptance of component products (100% plugging of ferrules & visually review for potential defective laps/crack in material).
• Follow work instructions.
• Participate on the Quality HPT.
• Maintain well organized 5s work area.
• All other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee
