PrecisionX Group in Connecticut is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure deep draw metal stamping parts meet customer specifications and internal standards through dimensional, first article, and final inspections.

You will interpret drawings and GD&T, use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators, document results, and support nonconformance containment and corrective actions while upholding AS9100 and ISO standards.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree in a quality-related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a quality-related role within manufacturing (machining or stamping).
• Hands-on with precision measuring instruments and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Detail-oriented, observant, and able to work with production and engineering teams.

Aufgaben

• Inspect first piece, in-process, first article, and final inspections of deep draw stamped components.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and GD&T; inspect with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and related tools.
• Document inspection results per company procedures.
• Identify nonconforming products; assist containment, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and safety requirements.
