Job summary

PrecisionX Group is seeking a Quality Inspector to verify deep draw stamping components meet customer specifications, engineering requirements, and internal quality standards.

You will perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, GD&T, and related tools. Join a 600+ employee team across CT, NJ, NY, and FL focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a quality-related field or equivalent experience required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a quality-related role within a manufacturing environment (machining or stamping) preferred.
• Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments, drawing interpretation, GD&T per ASME Y14.5, QMS documentation, and quality record maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspection and quality verification.
• Perform first piece inspection in-process, first article inspection, and final inspection on deep draw stamped components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, thread gauges, pin gauges, surface plates, and related tools.
• Conduct visual inspections for surface defects, burrs, cracks, and cosmetic issues and document inspection results accurately in accordance with company procedures.
