Job summary

Cignys is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Control Inspector. You will inspect parts before, during, and after production to ensure conformance to AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards, under supervision of the Quality Control Manager.

You’ll read blueprints, use gauges, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires 1+ year of QA experience, basic math and drawing interpretation skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Familiar with AS 9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• At least 1 year of experience as a quality inspector.
• Proficient with basic computing.
• Experience reading blueprints and job orders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts before, during and after production using standardized methods.
• Visually inspect parts using precision measuring instruments or fixed samples.
• Check dimensions and finishes against blueprints or job orders specifications.
• Read basic blueprints and production specifications.
• Support Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement and training.
• Perform random in-process inspections and first-piece approvals.
• Perform receiving inspections as assigned.
• Accept or reject product based on drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
