Job summary

MAX AEROSTRUCTURES LLC is seeking an Aircraft Inspector to support general and structural assembly inspection on the core line at our Wichita, KS facility. You will inspect first parts, in-process, and final assemblies using drawings and specifications to ensure conformance and proper fit, form, and function.

You will work with the team to verify workmanship, perform minor rework, and assist with training other assembly personnel in inspection techniques as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of aircraft general and structural assembly experience.
• Experience using inspection measuring devices per established procedures.
• Able to perform minor rework such as touch up of finishes, sealing voids, part marking, packaging and stocking.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and core line inspection on first parts, in-process and final assemblies.
• Use inspection drawings, work instructions and customer specs to guide inspections.
• Verify assemblies meet specifications and communicate issues for rework.
