Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in aircraft structural assembly and installation, esp. tags and shear webs.
• Experience addressing nonconformities, discrepancies, and rework.
• Ability to interpret technical docs and perform precision assembly.
• Proficiency with assembly tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Level B skills in structural assembly, sealing, and subassembly work.
• Ability to set up and operate conventional or CNC equipment with limited axis movement.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install structural components, subassemblies, and completed assemblies.
• Assemble work on tags and shear webs; identify discrepancies and rework as directed.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and process instructions.
• Apply shop math and use precision tools to verify dimensions and fit.
• Perform sealing, rigging, fitting, and adjustments as required.
• Inspect work for compliance with specs and quality standards.
• Move materials and complete production transactions within schedule.
• Cross-train in inspection and pursue SIA qualification.
