Job summary

Axius Group LLC in Wichita is seeking an Inspector - Fabrication/Assembly I4 to verify conformance of fabricated parts and assemblies to drawings, specifications, and shop procedures. This role supports 737 Final Product Verification in Wichita, KS.

Five years of aerospace airframe inspection experience, blueprint reading, and proficiency with MS Office and SAP are required. You will prepare quality records, write NCRs, and coordinate with customer representatives as needed.

Qualifications

5 years’ experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection.
Blueprint reading experience.
MS Office and SAP experience.
Experience writing NCRs (Tags).
Ability to obtain all required training certifications and maintain certifications while on assignment.

Responsibilities

Inspect fabricated parts, assemblies, and processes to verify conformance to drawings, specifications, and shop procedures.
Follow inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes, parts, and assemblies.
Operate testing machines and calculate and record results.
Prepare and maintain Quality records.
Write Nonconformance Reports (NCRs/Tags) as required.
Coordinate and communicate with other company organizations or customer representatives as needed.
