Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Ability to read simple blueprints/sketches.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Must have basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals).

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and parts visually and mechanically from outside vendors to ensure conformance to specifications and certifications.
• Perform in-process inspection of parts and operations at any stage of production.
• Inspect finished parts prior to shipping to confirm specifications have been met.
• Use inspection tools such as height gauges, micrometers, indicators, tape measures, calipers, optical comparators and scales.
• Prepare parts and paperwork for customer or source inspection.
• Create legible Inspection Reports and keep documentation organized.
• Support other Quality Department tasks as needed.
• Contribute to timely inspections and documentation to support the business.
