Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform moderately complex dimensional inspections of standard parts and materials to ensure conformance with specifications. Responsibilities include using gauges, documenting results, and supporting non-conformance processes.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience, English proficiency, and proficiency with MS Office and QC software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of related work experience
• Must read, write, speak and understand basic English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software
• Excellent time-management, attention to detail, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions per work instructions and documents
• Ability to communicate with team members verbally and in writing
• Ability to demonstrate basic math and use/measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators)

Responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex dimensional inspection of standard parts, units, or materials
• Use gauging devices to measure and inspect against drawings and standards
• Document inspection results using quality software, Excel, or SharePoint
• Analyze inspection results with stakeholders and follow non-conformance procedures
• Participate in problem-solving teams
• Maintain clean, organized work area following 6S standards
• Perform other duties as required within the scope of work
