Qualifications

• Two (2) years machinist experience or other close tolerance machinist experience and demonstrated ability to read and interpret specifications and blueprints and make analytic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Determines methods of inspection and setup of parts using surface plate and precision measurement tools.
• Inspects parts for usability and interchangeability against blueprints and specifications.
• Inspects tooling, jigs, fixtures, dies, and masters, and coordinates inspections with related tooling and parts.
• Sets up tooling on inspection bases and performs precision measurements to verify dimensions and finishes.
• Maintains records of inspected items and prepares necessary paperwork.
