Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three years of quality inspector experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to interpret drawings, specifications, and precision instruments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise judgment.
• Inspections on raw materials, in-process and finished goods.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of materials and products.
• Inspect machined parts with precision tools and close tolerances.
• Conduct first piece, in-process and final inspections per specs.
• Use comparator, toolmaker microscopes, and contour reader as needed.
• Check drawings and specifications for dimensional requirements.
• Examine products to determine acceptance or rejection.
• Notify supervisors of failures to meet specs.
• Prepare inspection papers, tags, and shipping papers with each order.
• Follow guides for sample or full inspection of products.
• Maintain records and move materials as required.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly; follow company rules.
• Perform other duties as required.
