Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2–3 years related experience and/or training.
• General understanding of production and quality processes with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to match colors and communicate clearly (verbal and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook; data entry and basic spreadsheet use.

Responsibilities

• Conducts tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance; examines products or work to verify conformance to specifications
• Performs line testing on can filling operations, including Brix, titratable acidity (TA), pH, CO2, fill volume, and seam checks, and records results per standard procedures
• Routinely use measuring tools (such as caliper gauges, micrometers)
• Advise production when inspection or test results do not meet specifications
• Generates forms as required to correct or prevent nonconformance; investigates as needed
• Records test data and applies to statistical quality control procedures
• Enters data into database systems and maintains accurate records for analysis
• Recommends revisions and updates for standard operating procedures and work instructions as needed
• Performs periodic product or process audits per standard procedures
• Supports efforts to minimize defects by identifying and reporting quality issues
• Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity
• Works individually and as a team to support quality and efficiency improvements
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace according to 5S standards
