Job summary

Flex is seeking a Quality / Calibration Technician in Columbia, South Carolina reporting to the Quality Manager. You will perform product inspection, calibration of measurement tools, and audits of quality control programs to ensure raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards.

Using engineering drawings and specifications, you will conduct First Article Inspections, record data, generate QA reports, and support corrective actions with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with technical training.
• Minimum 5 years of related quality/calibration experience.

Responsibilities

• Audit processes, test and inspect products to ensure quality.
• Perform First Article Inspections and calibration of tools.
• Work from engineering drawings to define quality standards.
• Record audit data and apply statistical quality control.
• Maintain gage calibration schedules and records.
• Support NCRs and supplier corrective actions.
• Review SPC data and verify corrective actions.
• Provide QA reports and data analysis.
• Ensure compliance with SSYMA requirements.
