Job summary

MAPAL Inc. in Fountain Inn, SC, is seeking a Quality Technician to join the Quality Management team.

You will perform in-process, first-piece, final, and receiving inspections and ensure conformance to engineering specifications and MAPAL quality standards. Applicants should have at least 3 years in manufacturing quality inspection, be proficient with precision measuring devices, GD&T, and SAP, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in manufacturing quality inspection.
• Experience with GD&T and reading engineering drawings.
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators).
• Experience with SAP and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, first-piece, final, and receiving inspections of all assigned product lines in accordance with customer requirements, engineering specifications, and MAPAL quality standards.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of applicable inspection standards, acceptance criteria, and quality requirements for all product families.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment and verify dimensions and tool geometry.
• Enter inspection results and material dispositions in SAP and maintain quality records.
