Job summary

Roush Yates Engines is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure the quality, safety, and integrity of our manufactured parts. In this role, you will perform inspections and dimensional testing, analyze data, identify nonconformances, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Design, Purchasing, and other teams to resolve issues and prevent repeat defects.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience operating programmable inspection equipment.
GD&T, blueprints, gaging, and dimensional measurement methods.
Knowledge of ISO and calibration requirements.
Certificate or associate degree in manufacturing or related technical field.
MS Word, Excel, Outlook; Access preferred.
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Perform manual, visual, dimensional, and attribute inspections and document results.
Operate and program CMMs, vision systems, Formtracer, and other inspection equipment.
Review inspection data and generate nonconformance reports.
Analyze defect and dimensional data to support corrective actions and continuous improvement.
Verify calibration of inspection gauges and equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
