Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma; associate degree in Quality/Manufacturing Technology is a plus.
• Experience with precision metrology tools or strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to read technical drawings; GD&T knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with CMM operation (Zeiss/Calypso preferred) is a bonus.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems; ProShop familiarity is a plus.
• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 quality standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections using precision metrology tools.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T callouts to verify requirements.
• Document inspection findings in the MES (ProShop ERP) per AS9100/ISO9001 standards.
• Conduct visual inspections for surface defects and finish inconsistencies.
• Support non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality teammates to keep production moving.
• Mentor newer team members on inspection techniques and documentation practices.
• Maintain organized, safe, and compliant work areas per safety protocols.
• Support other shop functions including CNC operation and post-processing.
