Job summary

HighRes, a Beverly, MA-based life sciences lab automation company, seeks a Quality Assurance Inspector to support quality operations across incoming, on-the-floor, and End-of-Line inspections. You will inspect precision mechanical components and finished products to ensure conformance with drawings and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of manufacturing quality inspection experience, read engineering drawings with GD&T, and operate CMM and metrology tools.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of manufacturing quality inspection experience.
• Experience inspecting precision mechanical components with tight tolerances.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Experience with CMM inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Incoming inspections of raw materials and parts.
• In-process and floor inspections for assemblies.
• EOL inspections and final product verification.
• Inspect tight-tolerance components with calibrated metrology equipment.
• Read engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• Verify dimensional accuracy and labeling.
• Document inspection results and nonconformances.
• Support MRB actions and containment as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Support FAI investigations and continuous improvement.
• Ensure equipment calibration status is current.
• Maintain compliance with QMS procedures.
