Job summary

Spike Electric and Controls LLC is seeking a QC Fabrication Inspector to perform structured in-process and final inspections throughout fabrication and coating processes. You will validate work at defined QC gates and provide documented verification and sign-off for components to ensure compliance with drawings, tolerances, and specs.

The role operates on the fabrication shop floor under ISO-quality procedures, reporting to the Fabrication Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fabrication quality control, welding inspection, or manufacturing inspection.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections at defined QC gates across laser cutting, forming, welding, and powder coating.
• Verify conformance to drawings, tolerances, and specifications.
• Inspect copper components and synthetic barrier installations.
• Sign off on QC checkpoints and document results.
• Maintain traceability and generate NCRs for deviations.
• Support audits and maintain inspection checklists.
