Job summary

Sandvik Group is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Nashville, TN, responsible for ensuring that all products meet customer and company standards by inspecting end mills and form tools. Duties include the inspection and testing of products, conducting process audits, and managing non-conforming products.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, and ideally certification in tool and cutter grinding, with experience in manufacturing and using inspection tools.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of industry-related experience and/or training.
• Manufacturing experience is required.
• Experience with hand gauges and non-contact inspection equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cutting tools manufactured within extremely tight tolerances.
• Examine tools for proper geometry within blueprint specifications.
• Approve or reject items, and record inspection and disposition data.
