Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification in tool and cutter grinding ideal but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cutting tools manufactured within tight tolerances.
• Examine tools for proper geometry against blueprints.
• Compare quantity and part numbers with procurement data for order accuracy.
• Approve or reject items and record disposition data.
• Inspect incoming raw material and vendor tooling; assist in final inspections.
• Prepare inspection procedures for reference in subsequent inspections.
• Run in-process and final inspection programs.
• Assist in etching product identifications.
