Job summary

Flowserve in Springville, Utah is seeking a QC Inspector to ensure products meet Flowserve procedures and certifying agency requirements. You will calibrate, adjust, and maintain measuring devices, collect calibration records, and support audits and supplier inspections.

You will work with engineers and technicians to improve inspection methods, prepare NCRs/CARs, and ensure traceability of outsourced calibration per NIST standards. Strong attention to detail and communication is essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma / GED and 5-7 years relevant experience.
• Experience in quality control or quality assurance inspection.
• Experience in the electronic manufacturing industry.
• Ability to operate a Multimeter.
• Knowledge of Hazardous Location requirements for Explosion Proof designs.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, adjust, and maintain measuring devices and test equipment.
• Collect and maintain calibration records electronically and on paper.
• Run reports and track costs for gage calibration, repair, and replacement.
• Oversee outsourced calibration and ensure traceability per NIST standards.
• Repair/replace damaged gages and evaluate new inspection methods.
• Inspect components for compliance with quality standards and perform audits.
• Create NCRs and CARs for non-conforming products.
• Verify customer requirements are met through manufacturing and testing.
• Support QA areas and assist in gauging calibration audits.
• Train shop personnel in use and care of measuring equipment.
