Qualifications

• Calibrate and maintain all measuring devices, gages and test equipment.
• Maintain calibration records electronically and/or on paper.
• Oversee outsourced calibration and ensure traceability to NIST.
• Create NCRs and CARs for non-conforming product.
• Understand and apply relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, adjust, and maintain measuring devices, gages and test equipment.
• Collect calibration records electronically and in paper form where applicable.
• Run reports and track costs associated with gage calibration, repair, and replacement.
• Oversee outsourced calibration and ensure traceability per NIST standards.
• Repair/replace damaged gages in-house or via outsourced services.
• Verify customer requirements are met on products through manufacturing, assembly, and test.
• Train shop personnel in the proper use and care of measuring/test equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and policies.
