Job summary

Qualifications

• Calibrate, adjust, and maintain measuring devices, gages and test equipment.
• Maintain calibration records electronically and on paper where applicable.
• Identify and implement testing procedures for certified equipment.
• Create NCRs and CARs to communicate non-conforming product issues.
• Train shop personnel in the proper use and care of measuring and test equipment.
• Understand and apply relevant national/international standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outsourced calibration and ensure traceability per NIST standards.
• Repair or replace damaged gages, in-house or outsourced as needed.
• Verify customer requirements are met on products through manufacturing, assembly, and test.
• Audit suppliers, manufacturing processes, and final product.
• Update certification records as products and standards change.
• Meet with vendors to establish Flowserve Quality requirements.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies.
