Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to verify incoming products against specified requirements at our Charlotte facility. The role emphasizes precise measurement, documentation, and adherence to ISO procedures to ensure parts meet customer drawings.

The ideal candidate will have GD&T knowledge, 2+ years of related experience, and the ability to operate measuring tools. This on-site position offers benefits and opportunities for growth within a manufacturing

Qualifications

High School Degree or equivalent.
2+ years related experience and/or training.
Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs.
Ability to use basic hand tools.
Understanding of GD&T with working experience in the use of measuring equipment and instruments.

Responsibilities

Ensure quality of incoming manufactured goods by comparing part dimensions against Solve or customer drawings for accuracy.
Perform quality tests using the appropriate instruments and equipment to gauge pass/fail grades of products, and record results accordingly.
Reject defective parts and mark/log type of defect(s).
Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments.
Comply with various ISO operating procedures and work instructions.
Process associated documentation for rework or non-conforming products.
Validate and process all RMA’s (Return Merchandise Authorization).
