Ppswork in Mentor, OH is seeking a detail-oriented QC Shop Inspector to join our manufacturing team producing precision-machined copper and aluminum electrical connectors. You will inspect production parts, verify quality with precision measuring instruments, interpret blueprints, and document inspection results on the production floor during your shift.

The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to read blueprints, and experience with calipers, gage pins, and thread gages.

Qualificações

• Experience with precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• ISO 9001 experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect machined parts throughout production.
• Perform dimensional inspections with calipers, thread plugs, gage pins and other measuring tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and product specifications.
• Record inspection results using Excel and Outlook.
• Communicate quality concerns and inspection results with machine operators.
• Train machine operators on quality procedures as needed.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Assist with incoming material inspections.
• Contribute to quality audits and gage calibrations.
