Job summary

PPS is seeking a 1st shift Quality Control Inspector for our northeast Ohio facility. The role focuses on in-process and final inspections of precision components produced with CNC processes, using hand tools and gauges.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in QC in machining, be able to read blueprints, and proficient with comparators, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges. The position offers growth opportunities and a first shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year QC inspector experience in machining/manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Proficient with hand measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on all work cells using hand measuring tools.
• Set up miscellaneous gauging for production use.
• Perform 1st piece inspections as needed.
• Provide process and ISO auditing as required.
• Train production associates as needed.
