Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or QA certification preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality control or quality assurance.
• Basic knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and standard quality tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspection of products to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Issue non-conformance reports when products do not conform to specifications.
• Collaborate with production to identify quality improvement opportunities and support process optimization.
• Maintain detailed and accurate quality documentation, including inspection reports and non-conformance reports.
• Support internal and external quality audits by preparing necessary documentation and facilitating inspection activities.
• Verify that the correct product, material, specifications, labels, packaging, and other applicable requirements are being used at the production line.
• Monitor production processes for conditions that could negatively affect product quality or food safety.
• Verify that production areas and equipment are maintained in an appropriate condition from a quality and GMP perspective.
