• Collaborate with production to identify quality improvement opportunities and support process optimization.
• Maintain detailed and accurate quality documentation, including inspection reports and non-conformance reports.
• Support internal and external quality audits by preparing necessary documentation and facilitating inspection activities.
• Verify that the correct product, material, specifications, labels, packaging, and other applicable requirements are being used at the production line.
• Monitor production processes for conditions that could negatively affect product quality or food safety.
• Verify that production areas and equipment are maintained in an appropriate condition from a quality and GMP perspective.

The OB Quality Tech plays a critical role in ensuring that manufacturing processes and products meet stringent quality standards within the manufacturing industry. This position is responsible for conducting detailed inspections, testing, and quality assurance activities to identify defects and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. The role requires collaboration with production teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction. The OB Quality Tech will also maintain accurate documentation and quality records to support audits and traceability. Ultimately, this position contributes to the overall operational excellence by safeguarding product quality and supporting manufacturing efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in quality assurance, manufacturing technology, or related field preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality control or quality assurance.
• Basic knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and standard quality tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software, including digital measurement devices and data management systems.
• Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably inthe food or food packaging industry.
• Familiarity with BRCGS, GMPs, HACCP, food-safety systems, or other GFSI-recognized certification programs is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand product specifications, inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and support training initiatives.
