Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting with quality control/assurance focus.
• Basic knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and standard quality tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Issue non-conformance reports when products do not meet specifications.
• Collaborate with production to identify quality improvement opportunities and support process optimization.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation, including inspection and non-conformance reports.
• Support internal and external quality audits by preparing documentation and facilitating inspections.
• Verify correct product, material, specifications, labels, and packaging are used on the production line.
• Monitor production processes for conditions that could affect quality or food safety.
• Ensure production areas and equipment are maintained in GMP-compliant condition.
