Job summary

U.S. Nameplate Co. is actively seeking a Punch Press, Hard Tool Operator to join our Mt.

Vernon manufacturing team. The successful candidate will operate punch press machinery to cut and form metal parts, maintain dies and tooling, and ensure products meet required specifications. Ideal applicants will have a high school diploma and an eye for detail, with prior experience in punch press operations and blueprint reading.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating punch press machinery in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Knowledge of punch press operation, tooling and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.

Responsibilities

• Operate Punch Press Machinery: Set up and operate punch press machines to cut, shape, and form metal materials according to specifications.
• Tooling Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on hard tools and dies, ensuring they are in good working condition and making adjustments as needed.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including materials used and products produced.
• Collaboration: Work with team members and departments to ensure smooth production processes and timely completion of orders.
